Set Your Table

Start thinking about who you will invite to your table! We will provide resources to help you connect with people of all ages.

Break Bread

On April 1st, we will be launching a special section of the site where you can log in, invite your guests and plan your menu.

Build New Traditions

The connections don’t stop on May 18. We will provide opportunities to stay connected.

Everyone and anyone within the LGBT community. Allies are and always have been an integral part of our community. Each host will decide for themselves who to bring to the table.

Food. Conversation. The first step towards building lasting community connections.
May 18. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, tapas or dinner or just a snack–it doesn’t matter what meal you meet over.
Your SAGE Table can be a potluck in a place of worship, a picnic in the park, a three-course meal in a restaurant, supper in your home, or a pizza party at the office.

HOW does it work?

When people sit down and share a simple meal and really talk, magic happens.

“Everybody forgets when they’re younger that getting old is just around the corner. So, you have to make sure you’re looking out for those who have come before you, and appreciate what was done. On May 18, we’ll get to know each other.”

Whoopi Goldberg

Actress/Activist, SAGE Table Host

“SAGE Table validates the common interests or threads we have as members of the LGBT community — as diversely defined. Breaking bread allows us to appreciate that diversity found from truly different voices.”

Terri Clark

Coordinator of Prevention Services at ActionAIDS, SAGE Table Host
